Pahlish Glittoris

*Press Sample*

Yet another lovely Pahlish Polish! Today we have Glittoris, and this one is absolutely amazing! I can never have enough red polishes and this one is definitely one of my go-to's.

This is a raspberry jelly base with a mixture of pink, fushcia and red glitters which consist of square and hex glitters. Glittoris also has purple flakes and that completely tops it off for me! Not to mention the name, Glittoris! A beautiful polish with an awesome name! It's like the queen of all nail polishes!

Here, I have 2 coats which applied smoothly and covered with great opacity. There was absolutely no fishing of any sort. Although I am in love with the jelly look, I am going to try it with an undie! Any suggestions?

Pahlish Like Calenders Dying

*Press Sample*

Check this baby out!

I've been really loving me some Pahlish Polishes! This is Pahlish Like Calenders Dying. It is a milky, jelly green with tons of glitter and shimmer, including sqaures and hexes. It was hard to photograph the true green-ness of this color so it appears like it has pink undertones, but it doesn't. This is 3 coats and applied very evenly. However, I think I would I am going to use a green base under this. The application was smooth and I really enjoyed this one!

If you haven't already and would like to try some Pahlish Polishes, you can purchase them here on Llarowe and/or Shannon's Etsy shop

Update

Hello readers!

I just wanted to type up a quick update post. Lately, if you have noticed, I have been pretty inconsistent about my blog posting and doing my nails, and I can say that life got in the way, but I think for all bloggers, we fall into that "overwhelmed" stage and sort of slip back. I mean, not all, but some. So here I am just giving you an update about what's going on.

I think sometimes, blogging can feel like a "job" and not a hobby, and I think I started feeling that way. But in my head, I didn't want to admit it. I mean, yes, school got busy, summer was here, family time, yadda, yadda. And so, I apologize for that.

Also, I apologize to those who have sent me polishes and products to review. It has been quite some time npw, but I'm currently working on some reviews right  now and am getting back into the swing of things. So, with that, I truly apologize for the delayed reviews and absence.

With that said, look forward to a new layout and something big I am waiting to announce!

Have a wonderful all.

Twinsie Tuesday: Magazine Inspired

I had no idea how I wanted to polish this week's theme but I hope I did some sort of justice to the challenge! I wasn't sure if we were suppose to choose a mani that was featured in a magazine or an actual mani that looks like a magazine, but here is mine:

Can you tell which magazine this is from?

Did you guess it correct?

TIME Magazine!

Man! This mani was hard! I have never done the "frame" mani and I probably won't do it again because it's just too much free hand work and the lines aren't crisp enough for me to be content with it. I could've used the other method where I paint over the red, but oh well, I think it turned out not too shabby!

What do you think?

Twinsie Tuesday: Summer to Fall Transitional

This one was sort of hard. In my neck of the woods, we really didn't have summer weather until the end of June going into July. It was just last week that was pretty warm but today was 63 degrees. It's quite odd. But lately, I have been wearing darker colors just because of the weather. However, this one that I am going to show you is a newer polish from a recent collection, I think it's gorgeous.

This is Maybelline Antique Teal. I absolutely love this color! I wish it would've came out sooner this year but it is definitely more of a Fall color. Despite that, I totally would've worn this in the summer. It's not too dark but not too bright. It's not entirely a creme polish and it comes off matte. There are so many ways that this polish can go. I've never really been into the whole matte trend but the option to leave it matte is cool. The one thing that I do wish was different is the amount of flakes that comes off. I can't complain too much because this is one coat. One coat and it covered completely, so over all, this is definitely a win for me and I will most certainly be wearing this one more through out Fall.

What are some of your transition polishes?
