JENsations Pot o' Gold

I absolutely love all of Jen's creations! Especially the bottle shapes! They are so darling cute! If you haven't already seen the first one that I posted, you can check it out here.

Pot 'o Gold is amazing! My pictures seriously do no justice. It's a gold holo top coater. It has so many different glitters from bar, heart, starts and hex glitters of many sizes. This is one coat over Essie Madison Hue-avenue. I could've done another coat but I feel like the coverage was pretty good for 1 coat.

I seriously love her polishes and I really recommend these.

You can find JENsations here at her Etsy shop. Her polishes range from $8- $8.25. And she has a huge variety of different polishes!

Darling Diva Menage a Trois

These pictures seriously do no justice! This polish is just amazing. Plus, my camera is acting up. I am needing to look into this. Does someone know how to get rid of the white fuzzy overcast?

Look at how amazing it is! Look  at the gold shimmery microglitter. I am seriously in awe of this beauty. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph the holo glitters in this but can you imagine how much more amazing this is in real life? You seriously need this in your stash!

You can purchase other Darling Diva Polishes at her Etsy shop here. Her polishes retail between $8 -$12. You can also "Like" her Facebook page to keep updated on her shop and future polishes here.

Absolutely gorgeous right?

Darling Diva Auld Lang Syne & Special Edition

I love me some Darling Diva Polishes! I always enjoy wearing them, but most of all, I enjoy sharing them with you!

Now this first one I'm going to show you it just bling-tastic!

 Blurred shot.

Blurred shot.
Auld Lang Syne is a gorgeous polish with tons of gold  and holographic gold glitters. Most of these are hex glitters, but you can see that there are square glitters as well.

I am absolutely in love with this one. Auld Lang Syne isn't apart of a special collection but is geared more towards a New Year theme. Perfect fit for it right? The formula for this was perfect, 2 smooth coats. I love the way the gradient glitter looks like. It is so beautiful against the black. I love this one oh so much!

Special Edition isn't apart of any particular collection as well but she wanted to hear my thoughts. And I love this one too! I love all the blue glitters against the pink and purple glitters It is amazing! This is 2 coats on each finger.

It may look like the square glitters are slightly curled but I am sure it is the lighting. I hate when the lighting doesn't behave!

Both of these are so much fun to play with and are gorgeous!

You can purchase other Darling Diva Polishes at her Etsy shop here. Her polishes retail between $8 -$12. You can also "Like" her Facebook page to keep updated on her shop and future polishes here.

DDP A Christmas Story and Seriously Serious

These babies here are just amazing!

From a far, you would think that they're simple microglitters, but they're not! They are so complex and unique.

This is 3 coats.

A Christmas Story. Just take a look at hidden rainbow! If you're not holding the bottle under direct sunlight, you wouldn't even know that the glitters are almost holographic. It is just amazing! In the bottle, it looks like a regular red and green microglitter polish but this one is jam packed with goodness!

This is 3 coats.

Seriously Serious is like the twin sister or, fraternal sister to A Christmas Story instead with purple glitters. I tried my best to capture the green holographic glitters but it just was not showing up. Otherwise, this one is just as gorgeous! These pictures do no justice at all. I feel like these pictures are a little bit of a failure. Hopefully when I revisit this, I will have a better camera and better lighting, then you'd be able to see the full potential of this beauty!

As always, I have never had a problem with any of the DDP's. They both applied smooth.

Guest Post from Polish Obsession

As some of you know and some don't, I broke my nail on Friday as you can see here. And Marisa from Polish Obsession, one of my Twinsie was sweet enough to compose a guest post for me since I literally have nothing but nubbin's on my nails.

So take a look, you'll be drooling all over your keyboard just like me!

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!!

I'm Marisa from Polish Obsession. I'm so excited to do a guest post for Anna, I love her blog! Typically, I do swatches and a bit of nail art. When thinking of what to do for this post, I decided to do a subtle layering.

I started off with Sally Hansen Jade Jump, a lovely green creme from their Insta Dri Line. It's one of my favorite greens. I then added a coat of Girly Bits Hocus Pocus, a sheer holographic top coat. Finally, I added Kleancolor Sparkle Emerald, a clear base with green holographic microglitter. Here's the result.

I used Orly Nail Defense as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. I really liked this subtle sparkly look. These polishes worked really well together.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thanks for having me Anna!

Seriously, isn't this combo to die for? First off, I love, really love the Sally Hansen Jade Jump, and to top it off with the Girly Bits and the Kleancolor top coats, I am just blown away.

I love the simplicity and beauty of this. It speaks volumes of gorgeousness. I am beginning to feel like I need all 3 polishes in my life (thanks Marisa, as if I didn't need more on wishlist!)

So thanks Marisa so much for guesting posting here! I am so thankful!

Well, I hope you readers enjoyed! And don't forget to check out her amazing blog!

Twinsie Tuesday: Holo (Pic Heavy)

I forgot that Tuesday was just around the corner. Where has this weekend gone? Wherever it is, I hope that you all had a great memorial weekend! Anywho, this weeks Twinsie Tuesday challenge is: holo!

I own absolutely not a single holo polish and I was totally freaking out because I had no idea what I was going to do for this. Luckily I ran across Spectraflair on a blog sale and purchased it just in time for this. While I love how holo polishes look, I'm not entirely in love with the trend and can't justify spending $10-$15 on a single polish. I have been looking around and there are some that I really like and might even purchase in the near future, but for now my Spectraflair will do it for me!

Now onto the loveliness:

 (Indoor with flash)

Sorry for so many pictures but I really wanted you to see the holo in this bad boy. I used 2 coats of OPI Road House Blues and 1 coat of the Spectraflair top coat to achieve this. Both polishes were buttery smooth to apply. I sort of wish the holo was more pronounced but I love how subtle it was since I'm not all that into holo polishes. Sometimes when I look it too much, I feel like vomiting. Gross and weird but I wasn't like this until when I was pregnant. Some glitters make me feel this way too. Sorry for the TMI but you gotta love pregnancy! Anywho, I can' wait to try out the Spectraflair topcoat on some other polishes! But in the mean time, I really hope you enjoyed this!

What do you think of holos?
Anna

Also, I want to apologize since I haven't been posting as much I used to and as much as I would like, but I can assure you once summer classes are over, I will be posting much more often.

Don't forget to check out the Twinsies' holo polish posts! I bet your wishlist will be longer after...
