An Update

I apologize for my absence. I am alive and well. My little family and I have had to suddenly move and my computer isn't set up yet. But I should be up and running in no time! By mid next week at the latest. Hopefully we get settled in this weekend!

Well, I hope you all have been having a great week so far!

Also, once I'm back, I'll be announcing the DDP giveaway! So stay tuned!

My apologies,
Anna

Glitzology Little Red Corvette

Good morning all! Hope you are having a fabulous one so far!

Today's post consists a more of new-to-me indie brand. I am happy to say though, I really enjoy her line of polishes. I am a huge fan of this one, and I am excited to show you!

Little Red Corvette is a jelly red base with tons of different types of red glitters from squares, to bars to hex glitters, all ranging in various sizes.

LRC applied a bit thick but thinner worked perfectly fine. After a little bit of thinner, it applied smoothly and covered opaquely in 2 coats. It took a bit of time to dry, however, I feel like it is definitely worth the wait. I don't have anything like this in my collection, so I am happy to say that I own this polish!

You can find her shop here on Etsy shop. Her polishes range from around $8.50 and she always has a great deal going on!

Have you tried any Glitzology polishes yet?

Well, I hope you enjoyed this!

KKCenterHK Glitter Review

Hello all!

This is the last of the section of the KKCenterHK goodies that I will be reviewing for you.

KKCenterHk is a online based shop that provide many wonderful different cosmetic products which vary from false eyelashes, wigs and makeup products. And this is another one of product that they kindly sent to me.

This one here is the black 3.0 mm laser glitter in LB100which you can find here.

The holo laser in this glitter is awesome. It was almost blinding, unfortunately, my pictures do it no justice. The glitters were very easy to use and easy to apply. The amount that came in the little jar, 10g was an exceptional amount. I highly recommend these if you love using glitter for nail art.

The only unfortunate thing is that if you try to franken or add this glitter to some kind of clear base, it bleeds. Otherwise, I think the price point and quality of this product is great! I recommend and would purchase it myself as I'm not one with any sort frankening skill.

You can purchased the 3.0 mm laser glitter here. And by using the coupon code "totheshowing10" you are eligible for a 10% discount off your purchase. The coupon code is god through January 31, 2013.

Blurred shots

I believe she used 5 different holo glitter pigments for this. Just look at that killer shimmer and glitter. It absolutely glows on my finger tips.

Anna was a piece of butter to apply. 2 even coats for coverage and the wear time was great! It also dried very quickly and the formula was great. Need I say more? I love this polish.

Thanks Carrie! I am so grateful to have this named after me!! Thanks a ton!

Windestine Review

I have been honored to be reviewing some of thee most amazing indie brands lately and so today I bring to you Windestine.

Jacquimo
A nice coral/pink creme with a hint of shimmer and holo micro glitter.
Please note that she does dislose that there is slight sinking glitter.

Crushed Rose
Matte yellow and pink glitter, along with shredded frost white glitter in a clear base.

Home Sweet Home
A brown creme polish with hints of holo and red'ish pink glitter.

Can you see the slight holo?

 Inner Glow
A nude'ish creme polish with a hint of holo.

Pond Patrol
Various colored matte hex glitters along with hot pink glitter in a green jelly base.

Twirling Upwards
Red shimmer with gold glitter of various sizes in an orange jelly base.

I apologize for the odd lighting as I am in the process of finding the right light bulb.

None the less, all of these are amazingly gorgeous. The application on all of these were great and dried very quickly. All of these were a breeze to apply and are truly a slice of heaven. This collection is really my cup of tea. They are just beautiful!

I also want to mention her outstanding service and communication. After I apply Jacquimo, I contacted her about the sinking glitter and she was aware of it and disclosed it on her Etsy shop. I believe she is in the process of fixing that. None the less, Freda is so sweet and kind and her polishes are creative and unique.

Thanks Freda for the oppotunity! I look forward to seeing more lovelies!

Giveaway Winner Unannounced

I recently held a giveaway for accomplishing 555 followers. Some of you may be wondering why I haven't chosen or announced anyone yet. Well, I have. I actually contacted two entrants and neither one of the two responded. Now I am onto the third person and I am waiting to hear from her - hopefully to hear from her that is.

Once things are settled and I finally find someone who responds to me, I will be sure to make the announcement.

Thanks for your patience,

A Break From Swatching

Since lately all I've been posting are reviews and I was out and sick for so long, I thought a break from that would be nice. I love doing reviews but nail art is just as fun!

It feels good doing some nail art again. I'm certainly not the best at it but I do enjoy it and I have fun.

For the base I used China Glaze For Audrey, for the gold glitter, I used Ulta High Roller, and that was a hot mess to clean up. For the rest of the colors, I used acrylic paints to avoid smearing and/or smudging. Anywho, I love the results and the color combo. Theres something about turquose and brown that I absolutely adore. It's like the perfect pair!

Twinsie Tuesday: Saran Wrap

Man does it feel good to be back! It feels like I've been gone for what seems like forever.

This weeks theme is saran wrap.

Mine doesn't look all that great. I didn't wait for the base color to dry, I just smashed it all together. So here's go nothing.

I wish I hadn't used a gold glitter because once I sponged it on, it became hard to clean up. There was still a lot of little specks everywhere since now you can see it in the picture.

For my first time though, I think it turned out pretty ok. It's fun, easy and different.

Have you tried the saran wrap method yet?
Anna

Wanna see my Twinsies' saran wrap manis? Yeah!
