More SHIMMER Bombs!

I absolutely love all of Cindy's creation! They are amazing and they make my nails feel like a treasure chest!

Shimmer Melissa

 Shimmer Natalie

Both of these Shimmers applied perfectly and covered in 2 beautiful coats. The one thing I do need to tell you is that these polishes requires a few top coats. Shown above are 2 coats of SV and you can tell, it can use another. All in all, the payoff for both polishes are amazing! I totally recommend these!

You can find Shimmer polishes here on her Etsy shop.

What do you think? In need of some Shimmers now?

Darling Diva Care Bear (especially) for a Crow

This one truly deserves it's own post because it is so special!

Carrie from Darling Diva Polish made this especially for Lauri from CrowsToes. So the story goes like this: "Once upon a time there was a woman who didn't like Care Bears. So I made a polish for her:) hehehehe;)"

This one is seriously to die for. It's so different nothing like anything else I have ever swatched or own. It has a compilation of various colored hearts and flowers in a clear purple/blue shimmer base along with a scattering of black glitters for a lovely crow.

This polish is amazing! It's a bit sparse but I had not a single problem with the larger glitters. 2 smooth coats and the application was like butter! I love it so much!

The first time I used this, I used a creme blue polish but when I took the photos it really washed out the purpl'ish-blue shimmers, so I hope this super sheer jelly-wash blue gave you a better idea of how it really looks like.

Carrie, you did an amazing job! Lauri, what do you think?

How about you? Is this for you?

JENsations Pot o' Gold

I absolutely love all of Jen's creations! Especially the bottle shapes! They are so darling cute! If you haven't already seen the first one that I posted, you can check it out here.

Pot 'o Gold is amazing! My pictures seriously do no justice. It's a gold holo top coater. It has so many different glitters from bar, heart, starts and hex glitters of many sizes. This is one coat over Essie Madison Hue-avenue. I could've done another coat but I feel like the coverage was pretty good for 1 coat.

I seriously love her polishes and I really recommend these.

You can find JENsations here at her Etsy shop. Her polishes range from $8- $8.25. And she has a huge variety of different polishes!

Twinsie Tuesday: Ruffian

I know my post is late. I didn't feel too well yesterday but, on the bright side, my post is finally here!

As you all have already seen my Twinsies' posts for today, you already know the challenge. So let's get to it!

I absolutely love a grey and pink combo. Unfortunately for reason, this is turning out to be much more orange than it pink. So after this, I am going to read my entire camera manual.

For the grey I used Sally Hansen Wet Cement and Wet n Wild Candylicious. Did I forget to mention this is probably one of my least favorite kind of mani?

Well off to some reading I go!

The Polish Bar Review

Again, I am so lucky to have been able to review another indie brand, The Polish Bar.

Janice is such a sweetheart and went out of her way to send these to me. So here, I bring you 3 of her lovelies!

2 coats of Shirley

2 coats of Butterfly Kisses

2 coats of Midnight Falls

Midnight Falls has definitely got to be my favorite out of the bunch. I wish I would've used a different base instead of black so you were able to see the black glitters in the black jelly base (or maybe, I should save that for another special day?)

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised to with these and really enjoyed them. I did find it a bit hard to polish on because the brush was a bit tiny and the glitter in the suspension base was a bit sparse. But I am sure with a regular sized bottle, the application would be perfect! Despite the sub-par application, I think these are lovely and would highly recommend them. And I think I might just purchase some of her goodies for myself!

You can find The Polish Bar polishes at Janice's shop here. Most of her polishes range from $8.50 and she has got a variety of different lovely polishes!

JENsations Winter Wonderland

This one deserves a special post of it's own.

I have seen her polishes around and have been lucky enough to review some! So here it is for you today, JENsations Winter Wonderland.

This is Winter Wonderland 1 coat over 2 coats of NOPI Nothing Kim-pares to Blue.

First things first, are Jen's star bottles not the cutest thing ever or what? And I admit, I absolutely adore this! Here in the Minnesota weather with about 3 feet of snow, this is totally Winter Wonderland. The iridescent glitter is just amazing! And the snowflakes, just a little bit of fishing but she included a little baggy of snowflakes! Isn't that awesome?!

Now looking back at this, I wish I had put more snowflakes but I seriously love this. Next time I have got to swatch it over black!

You can find JENsations here at her Etsy shop. Her polishes range from $8- $8.25. And she has a huge variety of different polishes!

Have you tried any JENsations yet?

Twinsie Tuesday: Stripes or Polka Dots

I have been having problems with Blogger all day, so please excuse my tardiness.

This weeks theme is either stripes or polka dots, and I choose to do polka dots because I felt like it.

I seriously don't know why my camera is fuzzing up.

Anywho, I felt like doing light colors for this mani, soft pastel colors.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this!

Windestine Spring 2012 Collection

I am really in love with these four. I don't see too many Windestine polishes around but they certainly need more exposure and more loving!

When <3's Collide
Look at that squishy black jelly! I thought it was a regular black
jelly polish with pastel white shard glitters but no! Surprise! Check
it out! Those blue iridescent shard glitters. Almost had me to die!

Crushed Rose in Spring
This jelly sage green with pink, white and yellow pastel glitters
is simply beautiful and perfect for Spring!

Leilani
A pale pink with multi colored hex and square glitters in various sizes.

Rainy Day Blues
A blue jelly with blue hex and bar glitters with holographic
glitters! Gorgeous! Look at the holo glitter!
This entire collection is amazing and applied wonderfully! 2 coats and it was pretty opaque. These are all buildable and could use another coat or an undie. All four dried quickly and have great wear time.

I personally would wear all of these with a colored base coat just because I want to conserve them, but other than that, I loved all of these!

You can find Windestine polishes here at her Etsy shop. Her polishes range from around $8.

So which of these are your favorite?

Darling Diva Menage a Trois

These pictures seriously do no justice! This polish is just amazing. Plus, my camera is acting up. I am needing to look into this. Does someone know how to get rid of the white fuzzy overcast?

Look at how amazing it is! Look  at the gold shimmery microglitter. I am seriously in awe of this beauty. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph the holo glitters in this but can you imagine how much more amazing this is in real life? You seriously need this in your stash!

You can purchase other Darling Diva Polishes at her Etsy shop here. Her polishes retail between $8 -$12. You can also "Like" her Facebook page to keep updated on her shop and future polishes here.

Absolutely gorgeous right?

Twinsie Tuesday: Marching Orders

What a crazy and hectic birthday weekend! Not to mention, yesterday night was my brothers engagement party! Oh I am so excited!

Anywho, I thought I scheduled this, but I didn't hit the "publish".

Today I have a marching order challenge from my Twinsie. We were all paired up and given a special assignment to create a mani choosen by our pair and I was assigned from Chelsea over at Nailed Blog. My challenge was create a mani inspired from my favorite movie. Please excuse my mani as I cheated.

Pocoyo!

I don't have a favorite movie so I decided to do my son's favorite show.

My son absolutely loves this show! Here is a video incase you have  never heard of Pocoyo.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this fun mani!

What are some of your favorite shows/movies?

Something simple, something easy

I always love a mani that I could wear anytime of the day, a mani that anyone can do!

This definitely isn't one of my best but I enjoy the simplicity of this. Plus, the color combo is fun, wouldn't you agree?

PS - I will have an update soon about my recent giveaway, stay tuned!

PPS - it's my birthday tomorrow! Any polish recommendations?!

Late Twinsie Tuesday: School Colors

I'll skip my story and get right into it.

It feels good to back doing what I love most, nails! And of course, my Twinsie Tuesdays! So onto the challenge, school colors! Though, I might add that mine was a bit boring.

My school colors were black, white and grey. Pretty boring right?

Source

Not the most interesting but I did have fun with this mani. I admit, it was very time consuming and I probably won't do this again but it turned out pretty cool.

What were your school colors?

Born Pretty Store Dried Flower Nail Art Review

Hello! I'm back! Boy does it feel good to be back! I apologize for my absence but I am sure we all know how it feels like when life happens. But I am finally back!

Today I have an awesome review for you from the Born Pretty Store. Born Pretty Store is a site in which they manufacture nail art products and sell them at the best price and provide the best service. They also have free shipping worldwide!

Firstly, I have to say that I really enjoyed these little dried flowers on my nails. They are extremely unique and so delicate looking.

The dried flowers were a bit tough to apply because once I put it on, it wouldn't stay flat/curve with my nails. None the less, I absolutely love them! The nail art flowers also came in a pack of 12 different types of flower with a variety of colors but I only showcased 3 of the 12.

You can find the dried flowers nail art here. Overall, the nail art flowers were lovely. I really enjoyed these and had a lot of fun.

You can also use the code AGL91 for 10% off your entire purchase.

Would want to try some of these?
