Darling Diva Grumpy Bear & Love A Lot Bear

I can never seem to get enough of some lovely Darling Diva Polishes! And to make a collection out of Care Bears. Seriously? Remember when we all looked forward to waking up in the morning just to watch Care Bear?! Those were the good old days where waking up to watch cartoons actually had good cartoons!

Now, onto some lovely Care Bears!

Love A Lot Bear 2 coats
This is a pink duochrome crellyish polish with various
sized white and holographic gold glitters with hot pink
hearts and red holographic hearts.

Grumpy Bear 2 coats over Sinful Colors Rainstorm
This is a periwinkle-y crelly duochrome base with various
sized white glitters along with pink and purple hearts.

I totally forgot to watermark, but that's really not the important thing right now.

Both of these are gorgeous and I think Love A Lot Bear and Grumpy Bear would really love these 2. I think Carrie did a great interpreting the colors for these 2 bears because these are gorgeous! Especially the duochrome, it's an amazing shift!

I really enjoyed these 2 and can't to show you the rest of this collection! But so far, I think these 2 are favorites. They're gorgeous colors with duochromes and a unique combination of glitter that would look great over all different kinds of different undies. There was a little bit of fishing required but very manageable.

I really love all of these and would really recommend them if you love duochromes and glitters! You can purchase other Darling Diva Polishes at her Etsy shop here. Her polishes retail between $8 -$12. You can also "Like" her Facebook page to keep updated on her shop and future polishes here

Whats your favorite from the collection so far?

March Birchbox 2013

I am disappointed with this months box. I know each box is only $10, but that $10 is extremely hard earned money. I didn't take pictures of the box or the card because I was let down and I didn't care at the time so hopefully you don't mind the screenshots.

I haven't posted a Birch Box blog in a while because they haven't been worth mentioning but this month's box had 2 missing items, yes 2.

Now, I'll just get on with the box.

So this is what I am suppose to be getting in this months box:

The actual products that I received in my box:

I'm missing the Incoco Nail strips, the one thing that I was super excited about! As well as the Twistband Head Band. That sucks. Although, I receive the emery nail board, Evologie Blemish Serum and the Whish Blueberry Shaving Cream. I am pretty upset about this month's box. I did contact the Birch Box customer service and the representative that I emailed gave me 100 points towards my Rewards Points. Am I happy with that? It's ok, I guess. I don't think that $10 was worth these 3 products for this month's box but I really enjoy Birch Box.

Hopefully next month will turn out to be better. I'm really hoping.

Are any of you subscribed to Birch Box? What did you get?

Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Color Mani

I have to say, that this was so hard to choose! How can you seriously pick only 1 polish to show off and say that it's your favorite color? Technically, I could've swatched like 5 different polishes, but I choose one that I am really loving at the moment.

Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth. This baby came out in the Sugar Rush collection. I only own about 3 from the entire collection but this one, I love the most. It's a warm purple almost pink crelly kind of color. This one was perfect for this Twinsie post because I was stuck between showing off a pink and purple. I mean, we all know that red is a classic color.

Now, I don't have a favorite color or mani but I naturally tend to gravitate towards pinks and purples. I even think this one has a slight shimmer, but I couldn't really tell. Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this lovely!

Did any of you pick up any from this collection?

Born Pretty Store Ring Review

Along with the Dried Flowers the Born Pretty Store sent me, they also added this extra goody in too.

If you don't know what Born Pretty Store, it is a site in which they manufacture nail art products and sell them at the best price and provide the best service. They also have free shipping worldwide!

This is the  Easy Stretch Bling Crystal Extensible Ring for Finger & Toe Ring.

This ring is so much prettier in real life. The crystals are so clear and look amazing on. The best part is that it stretches to fit all of you fingers. For a person like me who only wears ring as accents on the middle and index, find that the  fact that the ring is stretchy is so convenient!

Again, you can find this ring here and if you use the code AGL91 you are able to receive 10% off your entire purchase.

Elevation Pahlish LE Duo

When these babies arrived in the mail, I was in awe. Seriously, these are gorgeous. But once I applied these on my nails, I was floored.

Elevation Pahlish Mount Carmel & Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Mount Carmel
Gorgeous chocolatey crelly brown filled with pinky gold glassflecks

Coral Pink Sand Dunes
Clear base filled with coral and pink glitters of all types
including circle and hex

I love these kind of polishes. The murky kind of muted colors filled with glitter/shimmer/glassfleck. I absolutely love this! When I applied Coral Pink Sand Dunes over Mount Carmel, I didn't even know that it had circle glitters. That made me love it even more! I have this thing for circle glitters and this one took me by surprise!

Both polishes applied like butter and are gorgeous!

These polishes were provided to me by Shannon from Pahlish. You can find her polishes here at her Etsy shop as well as Llarowe. You can also "Like" her Facebook to stay updated with her newest collections.

Gorgeous right?

CrowsToes Merope & Maia

Lauri never ceases to amaze me with her creations! Each and every one of them are just absolutely amazing!

Merope

Maia

The shift in these polishes are much more visible in real life. It's just so hard to capture it with the camera. Oh, and its also very safe to say that SV really does shrink.

The application in both of these were lovely! They both applied very evenly in 2 coats. I love both of these and can't wait to show you the rest!

You can purchase CrowsToes here and here. And for you overseas polish lovers, you can purchases some CrowsToes lovelies here! You can also follow her blog for the latest collections and exciting news here

Twinsie Tuesday: Nails Polished By Someone Else

I have to say, I think that this challenge has got to be one of thee most fun and entertaining one of the entire bunch!

Before clean up

After clean up

This is Wet n Wild I Need A Refresh-mint. You don't want to guess who did it. But take a guess! What a great work of art, and I am very proud to say that he did a great job! He choose this polish and 'painted' it all by himself!

I'm happy to share with you this little artist, my 18 month old baby bear did this! You can even see for yourself!

Lovely right?

Twinsie Tuesday: Copycat Mani Take 2

I love these copycat manis! If you haven't already seen our first copycat Twinsie post, you can check it out here.

So for this week's challenge we are all given names from our Twinsie group and our goal is to recreate a mani that they did. With that said, my secret copycat mani is: Cordia from Seriously Swatched!

Her take

 My copycat

Excuse my dry cuticles hence this mani is called Snowflakes because we are currently being hit with a snow storm.

For the blue base, I used the one of the new Sinful Sugar Rush polishes and I noticed lately that the formula and brushes have been sort of poopy for me. Or maybe I just happen to get the bad one of the batch. For the gold glitter, I used ELF Goddess.

I really like this combo and would totally wear it again!

What do you think?
