Twinsie Tuesday: Something New

This week's theme was fun! Something new! I've never featured this brand on my blog before and it's my first time using this polish, so I hope you'll enjoy this!

You'll have to excuse my poor little nubs. I have been trying to take care of my nails because they have been so extremely thin. But here is butter London Fiddlesticks.

I have been using different base coats and strengthening polishes but nothing is really working for me right now and I'm not sure why. My nails are so thin that when I scratch myself, it would literally bend back, and when it bends, it doesn't even hurt because they're so thin. So I'm looking to take vitamins. Does anyone here struggle with this at all?

Fiddlesticks is a gorgeous color and I knew I had to have this right away. The glitter in this is so lovely! Unfortunately, it's a topcoat eater. I did 2 coats for this, but I feel like it could have definitely used another coat. If I remember correctly, I think this came out with the past 2012 holiday season collection, anyone know for sure?

How do you like Fiddlesticks?

Twinsie Tuesday: Splatter Mani

My apologies for missing last week. If any of you have taken a summer course, you would know that it's a pain in the membrane!

This week's theme was a real challenge. A while ago when I first started blogging, I did a splatter mani, you can see that here. After attempting that not so great one, I decided that I would never ever do a splatter mani again. 1. It took way too long to try to get the splatters right, 2. The clean up was pain. So here is my new and sort of improved version besides the knick on index.

I tried to mattify it, but the mattifying top coat that I used took so long. But I hope you like this look. The whole free hand splatter probably doesn't look at legit, but I enjoyed this and adore the color combo! Let me know what you think!

Twinsie Tuesday: International Choice

I'm feeling better and for this week's challenge, I went sort of bland. I know and Ireland has many more things to know but I was out of creative juices.

This challenge was suppose to be something inspired from Ireland, and for all you Irish readers, you can tell I was inspired from the colors of their flag. Interesting enough, the colors of their flag is the same as India. I wonder why.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this and represented you Irish readers well!
Anna

On a side note, you can tell my nails are super short and not looking like it usually does but my nails have been peeling so very bad. They're super thin and frail. What do you use for times like this?

Twinsie Tuesday: Beach Inspired

Here in the Midwest, it hasn't been warm enough to hit the beach yet. Yeah, it's July and I have only been to the lake once. Boo! Hence the reason why I wasn't too inspired. But it's something!

Sation Board Girl Blue. That counts right? This is just a soft yellow toned blue. The application was ok because the formula was sort of runny but overall, it's definitely a gorgeous color.

Totally random but what do you call a wood that has nothing to do?

A board, a bored. HAHAHA Funny right?

Twinsie Tuesday: Textured Nails

This week's theme is definitely one of my least favorite trend: textured nails.

This is the only brand so far that I have tried and so far, I'm not really loving it.

What do you think? Barry M Ridley Road.

The application sucked. It was so weird and gritty. I mean, what could I expect? It is suppose to be gritty but I'm definitely not used to it. Plus, I had to apply 2 layers, which I didn't have the patience for because it took so long to dry. This, is totally not my thing.

What do you think?

Pahlish Prayers For Rain

 *Press Sample*

Pahlish Prayers for Rain.

Is this not amazing or what?

Prayers for Rain is described as a "deep blue leaning translucent teal jelly base with a mix of iridescent glitters, small blue and green hex, blue and green shimmer, blue disco squares, and sparse blue-green flakies."

I am seriously in love.

Need some Pahlish polishes?
You can purchase them here on Llarowe and/or Shannon's Etsy shop!

A Week Of Pahlish: Little Caroline

 *Press Sample*

I absolutely adore Shannon from Pahlish. And unfortunately, these posts were suppose to be up sooner than I am posting them now. But life has been happening, and especially school. But for the next couple days, I will be sharing with you these beautiful creations from Pahlish. And if you haven't already tried any of her polishes, you are totally missing out because they are amazing!

Finally! I am confident that these pictures will post!

Pahlish Little Caroline. Smooth like butter! Amazing! The glitter, shimmer and jelly base in this polish is just amazing! I am in total awe!

Little Caroline is described as "an ultra squishy neon fuchsia jelly base loaded up with color shifting hex and squares. These squares shift from orange to green (the same color shift as flakie polishes like Nubar 2010 and Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure) and are accented by subtle gold and pink microshimmer."

I couldn't had said it any better!

If you haven't already and would like to try some Pahlish Polishes, you can purchase them here on Llarowe and/or Shannon's Etsy shop

Enjoy!
