KKCenterHK 3D Nail Seal Review

More reviews from KKCenterHk! I recently posted my first review about a different nail decal strip which you can find here and here

KKCenterHk is a online based shop that provide many wonderful different cosmetic products which vary from false eyelashes, wigs and makeup products. And this is another one of product that they kindly sent to me.

Easy And Convenient To Use:
1. Select A Design And Peel Off By Your Nail (Don't Touch The Glue).
2. Place The Design On Nail/Tip And Rub It Gently Several Times.
3. Apply Top Coat For The Best Result.

With Glittering Material On Top Of Each Stickers,
Decorate And Make Your Nail Shining Bright In The Dark
Pattern: Wordings Of 'I Love Angry Birds', Green Hearts, Various Colors Of Angry Birds

Seriously, these were way too easy to apply! Easy as 1, 2, 3. I thought I was applying them wrong. Silly me!

I really like these. They were easy and no fuss. All I had to do was peel it off and apply it onto my nails and seal it with a topcoat. It really doesn't get any easier than that! And who doesn't love some Angry Birds?!
The stickers are also topped with glitter which had no affect on the application. After application, they smoothed out perfectly.

The lasting power was quite long. They seemed to have lasted for over a week.

I hope you can see the stickers as I did a slight gradient on my nails as base to go along with the theme of the stickers. I do apologize if they are not too visible.

I had no problems with these. They were easy as butter and adorable as ever!

Overall, I highly recommend this! The lasting power was great and for the price of $3.50 is great and you can find this nail seal here long with many others.

KKCenterHk has a huge variety of nail seals which is great! The instructions listed on the back of the packaging were simple to understand and very easy to apply.

You can also use the coupon code "totheshowing10" for a 10% discount off your purchase. The coupon code is god through January 31, 2013.

Twinsie Tuesday: Color Block

I have to say that color blocking is one of my least favorite nail arts to do. So you already know, this week was a real challenge: color blocking.

Originally in my mind I agreed to only do 1 nail as an accent but somehow as I began polishing, I totally forgot about it and started polishing all of them. I guess they turned out okay but definitely not something I would showcase again on my blog.

So I straight up just free handed the lines. I don't have the patience to tape each and everyone one of the colors, though it may have looked better. But hey, it is what is! I'm usually a perfectionist but I just could not get this right.

Like what Amandalandish said, I'm not even sure if these pictures deserve a watermark.

For the teal'ish, I used Sinful Colors Athens, for the black, I used Sally Hansen Black Out and Ulta High Roller. Color blocking manis are totally not my thing and I probably won't ever try them again. And lines that aren't crisp just drive me crazy!

What do you think of color blocked nails?

Haze of Love

I have a quick post for you lovelies today! I'll be on a camping trip this weekend and as soon as I get back, time for school and a lot of catching up on my blog and some reviews.

It's a beautiful deep rusty red. Perfect for fall! I LOVE these WnW Megalast polishes, except the brushes. They are just wonk-ed up!

What are some of your favorite polishes for fall?

By the way, don't forget about my giveaway!

At Your Quebec And Call

So I have heard that this nail polish in particular is sort of hard to find? I'm not sure, but if you do know, please be sure to leave me a comment letting me know!

It's finally Thursday! I'm excited for this weekend except knowing that after this weekend, school starts. Boo. I guess Autumn is finally here. When the days start getting cooler and when school starts, yeah. On the other hand, I look forward to the state fair! Yay! Roasted corn, the best corn ever.

Anywho, now that's totally not what you were interested in. On the other hand, I hope you all have a fabulous summer!

OPI At Your Quebec And Call is definitely one of a kind. It's like a deep golden olive sort brown almost green with very tiny beautiful shimmers throughout. It's simply gorgeous and one that I don't have anything similar to in my collection.

Thanks to Victoria from Miss Vee's Nails, I was able to swap for this lovely. Oh she is such a sweetie bear! The packaging was superb as well. I hope to do another swap with her soon!

The formula for AYQAC was nice. A bit thin since it needed 3 coats for full opacity but it was by no means hard to work with or extremely streaky. It's probably one of favorites, sort of. I really like the uniqueness of it.

What do you think? Do you own At Your Quebec And Call?

Twinsie Tuesday: Floral Mani

You know what day of the week it is! That's right! Twinsie Tuesday! And this weeks theme is: floral mani.

Alright. I'm not much of a nail artist but I do enjoy doing it. So hopefully, my mani will be as awesome as my Twinsies'!

Red poppies. Yay or nay?

For the base I used Essie Looking for Love. It's the perfect jelly grey with lots of blue undertones, so technically it's bley, if you know what I mean! However, I LOVE it! It was a bit streaky with 2 coats but the 3 one covered it perfectly! Looking for Love is actually my first time using and I was really impressed with this one. As you may or may not know, Essie is one brand that I am not too fond of.

For the stems, flowers and buds I used acrylic paint. As you can tell, I almost always use acrylic paint to avoid any smearing and/or smudging.

So what do you think?

Black and White Stripes are Breezi

I hope you enjoyed this one as much I as did. It's simple and cute - and most of the time that's what I like!

Before the pictures, I want to apologize how yellow the pictures look. As you can tell, I recently just started using a light box and I am still trying to figure this thing out. Oh how I wish natural sunlight was more dependable.

If any of you light box users have any tips and tricks, please be sure to let me know!

Now, for yellow pictures.

For the blue, I used Zoya Breezi from my post the other day. I love this color and can't get enough of it. After a about a day or so, I added the black and white stripes just to add a fun little twist. For the white base on the pointer and thumb fingers, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme White Out and just a plain black acrylic paint for the stripes. Boy does it take steady hands to make those lines! I must say that was a real challenge but I am proud to say they look pretty decent!

Again, please pardon my weird colored looking skin. I personally prefer natural sunlight but with winter coming around, I'll have to play around with time considering that we barely get enough sun time out. So hopefully soon the lighting will be perfected! In the mean time, please bare with me.

So please let me know if you have any tips! I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Breezi + Winner Announcement

I'm pretty behind this week and I can't believe that it's also mid August already. BOO! School will be here soon. Did this summer pass quickly or was it just me?

So, this is what I have for you today!

Zoya Breezi is described as a soft, dusty, dirty medium cerulean blue with an opaque cream finish. Such a vibrant and eye appealing polish. This applied perfectly and was super glossy! I love creme-y and glossy polishes! Breezi was released some summers ago and I still love it here in 2012.

Apparently Breezi is also a dupe for OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, which is great because I have been wanting that one for awhile. Yay for dupes!

Breezi is also another polish that purchased for a penny on Copious. You can see my post here about how I did that. It almost doesn't get any better than that!

Now onto what you all have been waiting for!

After going through the list of entries, I have had to delete some. There were many entries that blogged about the giveaway but did not enter in the extra information as wells the links to their tweets. I am sorry but this is only fair to everyone and I hope you understand.

With that, I am glad to announce the winner of my 200+ Followers Fall For Jessica Giveaway is April Gevedon! Congrats! You have been emailed. I hope to hear a response within the next 24 hours.

Twinsie Tuesday: Animal Inspired

This week's theme was so much fun! I felt like there were so many thing that I wanted to do. So many different animals! Horses, cats, dogs, elephants oh the list was endless! Ultimately, for this week's Twinsie Tuesday theme, I went with: sheeps!

I also want to apologize that I haven't been commenting back or to your blogs. I have been super busy lately. That's no excuse, but just give me a little time to play catchup!

For the base, I used Zoya Kristen. Two lovely coats and it covered perfectly. For everything else, I used acrylic paint.

I wanted to do elephants, but did sheeps because I was short on time. However, you will be seeing animals posts soon here!

So far, I think this one is probably one of favorite themes so far! Besides the franken and jelly sandwich.

And please pardon my absence as this is a schedule post and I will not be back in town until Tuesday night. Therefore, hopefully by Wednesday morning, I will have the winner for my 200+ followers giveaway announced. So stay tuned lovelies! Have a great day!

What's would you have done for this week's animal theme?

Open Seas

Hello!

So today I have this quick and lovely post featuring Sinful Colors.

I absolutely love this color! Sinful Colors Open Seas is a soft green shade with gray undertones. I didn't know but it is apparently a dupe for OPI Mermaid's Tears. And I have been wanting that one so very bad. But thanks to Sinful, I no longer need it! You can check out that post here. It also reminds me of Zoya Bevin, but that will be for another day!

Open Seas was easy to applied and covered in 2 smooth coats. I love this one and might have to be on my top 10 list. Pretty crazy. I wore this for 2 days - and that's a lot if you're a polish fanatic like me (and I know I'm not the only one here!)

I purchased this on the Walgreens sale for only $.99. So if you're patient enough, you can definitely get this polish for half the price! With that said,

Would you rather have Mermaid's Tears or Open Seas?

Twinsie Tuesday: Glass Fleck

I have had such a busy busy weekend that I forgot it was Tuesday! Now onto today's Twinsie Tuesday challenge: glass fleck.

This past weekend was my son's very first birthday on Sunday. This past weekend was filled with many productive activities. Then Sunday came around and I soon as I got home, I showered and headed straight for the bed. So that is the reason why I am so very behind this weekend!

Before we get into the pictures, I want to give a warm welcome to our other newest addition Elizabeth at Did My Nails. We are so lucky to have her on board!

So now, let's move to the pictures that you all have been waiting for!

Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe. Isn't that a beauty? In a way it reminds me of Zoya Ivanka.

MMUTM covered perfectly in 2 smooth coats. The first coat was a bit streaky but 2 did the trick. MMUTM has blue-green glassfleck with an emerald base. You can't quite see the blue, which is a little unfortunately but still absolutely gorgeous. Just look at that bottle shot.

Some people consider this a shimmer/glitter, but I'd say this is in the flecked family.

What do you think, shimmer or glass fleck?

Jawbreaker

Since I always miss the sales, I wanna say thanks to the lovely Brandi over at The Collegiate Nail who got it for me.

Due to the indie polish craze, I had to get my hands on this. I don't own very many indies, so when I purchase them, I am totally in love and cherish them. Crazy as it sounds, but it's true.

Sorry for the picture spam. But I LOVE how it looks! Isn't it gorgeous?

The formula was ok. Not the best that I have experienced but a couple drops of thinner will do the trick.

Though, I LOVE this, I am debating to keep this or not. I went out of my way to get this from Brandi, so that makes it super special. But in the mean time, I guess we'll see.

What do you think of the indie craze?
