Orchid Much?

I saw this beautiful awesome orchid mani on someone’s blog, but for the life of me I can’t remember whose it was. When I saw it, I thought it was so beautiful and simple that I had to have it only nails! Man. I wish I can remember who it was. I originally wanted to do a birthday mani on my nails but had no creative juice. POO.

Today is my happy happy birthday. I celebrated it yesterday with my family during lunch. I actually planned it myself. They all lied to me that they couldn’t make and I actually believed them! When I arrived there SURPRISE! Everyone was there! I am truly blessed and loved by such an awesome and crazy family.

Excuse my silly brother's hands, he wanted the other food in the picture as well.
The only one that couldn't enjoy the rest of the food with us.
My cake!
The beautiful flowers from my family!

I hope to be sharing my birthday gifts with you all soon! I am truly blessed and very fortunate with such an awesome family. So, tonight we might be going to Buffalo Wild Wings and celebrating it there with the rest of our friends. I am excited and looking forward. I am so very glad that class is cancelled today!

Hope you have a great day!

GIANTS For The Win!

I hope everyone had a great Superbowl weekend! I KNEW the Giants were going to take it! Gotta give it to the underdogs! Here are couple pictures of our snack:

Coconut fruit salad

I’m not sure whether this is healthy or not, but it was definitely very yummy as well as the Tres Leche cake. I totally forgot to snap a few photos because I was busy snacking. Sorry. However, I hope your team won!

YAY Giants!

Early Bday Dinner

So, earlier today I went out with a couple of friends for an early birthday dinner. This friend of mine is going on a missions trip to El Salvador for almost 2 months, I believe. So she'll be gone for my 21st birthday, that's the reason we went to eat out. So we decided that we would we want some Asian cuisine, so here's what I got:

Claypot Panang Curry Chicken $12.95

This dish is pretty good. It consists of chicken, snow peas, red bell peppers and a few other things (wish I paid more attention to the ingredients maybe then I'd be able to share what's in it). It is so yummy. *DROOLS* However, I think $12.95 is a little overpriced compared to other places that I have been to. There is this other Thai  restaurant that I usually go to and they literally have the BEST red curry chicken. Like the best! I have many different types of curries throughout my life, but nothing beats that. Next time, I'll be sure to snap a few pictures, then you'll be able to taste it through the pictures!

So, it will be my birthday soon in February. The first week of, and I really don't know or think I will do anything. I haven't had a birthday cake since I turned 18 I believe. It was a Costco cake, and that is always good. Hopefully this year will be different. I always wanted to do something big but maybe not this year again.

In the mean time, do you have any suggestions?

Working weekend

It’s been 4 days since I have written in my blog. It seems like forever. However, I doubt that anyone would read my blog. (= Partly my fault since I wanted to get it rolling before letting it all hang out. So I haven’t been doing much but relaxing, I should really be cleaning my messy place. This bucket of clothes that I am planning to donate needs to get out of here so I can have more room!

Finals are finally over! I feel a little relieved except I am taking a class over break to get it out of the way. Since I will be graduating later than expected due to my advisor who THOUGHT she placed me in the correct pre-requisite for chemistry, but apparently not. OH! So I spoke to financial aid about the owed balance for Spring and they informed me that financial aid isn’t dispersed until shortly after Spring semester actually starts because many students are constantly adding and dropping classes. Can you imagine how relieved I felt? I’m already thousands and debt and now taking more loans. Yuck! Praise God! I hope all of my spring tuition will be covered by financial aid. (=

Drools*

Did I mention that my sister and I went to get some Boba tea? I have been craving that for what seems like forever. Although yesterday was a little chilly, it was satisfying! Later, we went to a couple of stores where I purchased a few baby items for her since those were the few last things that she didn’t have after her baby shower. I’m so excited to meet her little man. I guess my son will have a partner in crime! =D
Hope your having a wonderful weekend!
Toodles,
XOXO
