Guest Post From Seriously Swatched

Hello all! I am back from a hectic, long and crazy weekend from Milwaukee and I am ready to take my blog into full swing again. Only 3 more weeks of school left and summer break will be here. Unfortunately, it's not too much of a break since I'm taking 2 courses, but it'll be good for me.

Anywho, I wanted to get this up sooner but I didn't have access to the internet where I was. However, I believe that you will enjoy this because I have a special guest post from Cordia, my fellow Twinsie from Seriously Swatched.

After preparing this post, I'm literally digging through my collection looking for this! Thanks Cordia! _____________________________________________________________________________
Hello! I'm incredibly pleased to be guest posting today for the wonderful Anna! I hope you enjoy my swatch and review of Sinful Colors Lavender!

THE PRODUCT:

Lavender is a really lovely creme Sinful Colors introduced last summer. This was an instant hit in the polish blogging community and as soon as I had it on my nails, I knew why. The formula is creamy, easy, and smooth. I used two coats for my swatches below.

PLAYING WITH THE POLISH:

Isn't it pretty??? Isn't it?? I'm a massive sucker for lavender polishes and this is a wonderful example. The blue tone really warms it up and makes it a more unique color, in my opinion.

THE VERDICT:

Oh my gosh, go buy this polish! It's amazing. And luckily, it's back in stores this summer already! Yay! I know I'll be pulling this one out again in the next few months as the weather warms up.

Thanks Cordia! I am seriously in love with this! This one is currently sitting in my untried pile but I can't wait to pull this baby out!

Also, thanks so much for the guest post! You're awesome! And for those of you who haven't already,  check out her amazing blog!

Thanks lady!

Guest Post from Boombastic Nails

Due to my extremely busy week with finals, I have asked an awesome fellow blogger to guest post for me.

I am so excited to present to you Vicky from Boombastic Nails. Seriously, her blog and her manis are just amazing! Most importantly, I wanted to showcase her blog because I feel like she seriously deserves more readers and followers.

Hello!  My name is Vicky from Boombastic Nails and I'm super excited to be here.  I was jumping up and down when Anna asked me to guest post lol !!  But at the same time, I was very nervous since this was my very first request.

I asked Anna if there was anything in particular that she would like me to do for this guest post, her reply was "no, I don't but I do love surprises !"  Ok .. so here is what I have for you today :)

I started out with 2 coats of Jade Diamond Scarlet - a ruby red duochrome that flashes red and gold; on the ring finger, I dotted some flowers using black acrylic paint and added some gold rhinestones (1mm) in the center of the flowers; the stripes on the rest of the nails are black acrylic paint and gold striping tapes.  Photos are shown with topcoat.

Thank you so much, Anna for having me here !!

Thanks so much for guest posting and bringing your awesome nail art here to my blog!

I hope you readers enjoyed this and please go check out her blog and follow if you haven't already! Thanks again Vicky!

Guest Post from All That Is Gorgeous

Since my wonked up nails are still recovering I present to you:

My Twinsie, and awesome polish friend Jennifer from All That Is Gorgeous. She is just way too sweet for sharing this lovely goodness on my blog! And seriously, her nails and manis really are gorgeous! They're perfect! Just take a look!
_________________________________________________________________________

 HELLO GoingtotheShowing readers!!!!

I am here to bring a fun little indie to show y'all while Anna's nail mends!  Bummer!  I cannot stand it when I break a nail, cut them too short, or cut them wonky!

This little bottle of fun is Lush Lacquer Paradise Cove!  Paradise Cove has a sheer brown base with hex and bar glitter in teal and copper with a dash of some gorgeous iridescent glitter!

For this mani, I wore one coat of Paradise Cove and Essie Mink Muffs undies!  I really love this polish layered over the creme chocolate brown!!

Paradise Cove was a cinch to apply!  The glitter distributed evenly over the nail and no fishing was required!

Thank you, Anna for having me visit your blog while your nail recovers!

_________________________________________________________________________

I really need to get my hands on some Lush Lacquers. Seriously, Paradise Cove such a beauty? Great distribution and no fishing for glitter. We definitely need all indies to be like that. I am truly in love with this combo Jenn! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty here! Thank you!

Can I get a yes for more Lush Lacquers?! YES, please!

On the flip side, my nails are starting to look a little better. My nails grow uberly slow and are very thin and frail. It really sucks, but it's what I've got to work with. Some people said that there is some kind of vitamin out there that helps with nail growth, anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone take anything for nail strength or growth?

Also, I apologize for my lack of interaction here lately. There's only 1 month of this semester left, and you know what that means. Exams, presentations, papers and projects, you know that's always fun! Soon as that's done, I'll be all over the place! Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Anywho, I am so grateful for Jenn sharing this on my blog and with you! Killer combo right? Lovely, right?

Guest Post from Polish Obsession

As some of you know and some don't, I broke my nail on Friday as you can see here. And Marisa from Polish Obsession, one of my Twinsie was sweet enough to compose a guest post for me since I literally have nothing but nubbin's on my nails.

So take a look, you'll be drooling all over your keyboard just like me!

Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!!

I'm Marisa from Polish Obsession. I'm so excited to do a guest post for Anna, I love her blog! Typically, I do swatches and a bit of nail art. When thinking of what to do for this post, I decided to do a subtle layering.

I started off with Sally Hansen Jade Jump, a lovely green creme from their Insta Dri Line. It's one of my favorite greens. I then added a coat of Girly Bits Hocus Pocus, a sheer holographic top coat. Finally, I added Kleancolor Sparkle Emerald, a clear base with green holographic microglitter. Here's the result.

I used Orly Nail Defense as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. I really liked this subtle sparkly look. These polishes worked really well together.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thanks for having me Anna!

Seriously, isn't this combo to die for? First off, I love, really love the Sally Hansen Jade Jump, and to top it off with the Girly Bits and the Kleancolor top coats, I am just blown away.

I love the simplicity and beauty of this. It speaks volumes of gorgeousness. I am beginning to feel like I need all 3 polishes in my life (thanks Marisa, as if I didn't need more on wishlist!)

So thanks Marisa so much for guesting posting here! I am so thankful!

Well, I hope you readers enjoyed! And don't forget to check out her amazing blog!

Forgotten Post

I feel so guilty. I have been neglecting my blog. Oh blog, forgive me. It has been a crazy hectic weekend filled with family fun, funeral, movies, dates and all the above. I also feel even worse that I had totally forgotten that I did a quest blog post for one of my Twinsie lady. Oh, forgive me.

So now, here I am on an early Monday morning at 12 am finally posting about my guest post. I actually didn’t even remember until Sunday evening when I was surfing the net on my phone since I didn’t have enough time to look through my blog roll this weekend, then it just clicked my mind. Geez.

I feel bad.

Anyways. I’ll just stop whining now so you can go check, check, check, check it out! What, what, what’s it all about?!

So I want to say thanks to ChiChi to giving me the opportunity to do a guest post! I am truly honored and grateful!

Oh and don’t forget to follow her! She has an amazing blog!
