Swatch Sinful Colors Pandora

Hello hello good weekend! I wish tomorrow was Saturday again.

Today, I have got a beautiful swatch for you to see! I just recently purchased a few polishes from the Sinful Colors Castaway collection and today's swatch is Pandora.

This is a tiny bit more color accurate.

Pandora is such a beautiful color it's sort of an orange almost rusty sort of color. It's so hard to describe.  It also has a very subtle sheen shimmer. Hopefully you are able to see that above. I am really enjoying this color. It's such a pretty pop of color for a grey rainy and snowy day - that's the way it's been here lately where I live. The only problem I have with this is the formula and application.

Can you see? The index finger? To the right it's sort of piled up. If I pushed/brushed it out anymore, it would have flooded my cuticles. And I absolutely could not have that. My thumb was even worse. When I applied the top coat. it literally pulled the not-so-dried polish area to the tips of my nail and ruined it entirely. So I had to repaint it. Besides the horrible application, it's a beautiful color!

Do you have the same problem with the Sinful Colors?

  1. This looks great on you! I know what you mean about the application. It did the same for me. I wrote about them when I got the entire collection and started to swatch them all and gave up very quickly and used little plastic nails instead :)

    1. So unfortunate. /= It's a cheap polish but then, had I saved the good $8 for 4 yucky polishes, I wouldve had a wonderful OPI or Essie. What a bummer.

  3. Ohno I hate when great colors have crappy application! It is a great color though, it kind of looks like you dipped your nails in caramel! I love it!

  4. what a neat color! It sucks that you had trouble applying it. I've never had issue with SC before... They're not the greatest but they've never misbehaved like that before :(

  5. its a very nice color, too bad the formula was not so great! I have had good experience with Sinful Colors so far, maybe its just random colors that are not great :(

  6. I love the color! I find Sinful Colors to be a hit or a miss. Most of the solid colors I've bought from them are horrible, but they have really good glitter polishes. Since it's not an expensive brand I don't worry too much when I buy one I don't like.

    1. Yeah, most of mine have been misses - application wise. The color range is definitely beautiful though!
