Whimsical Cinderella

Good Thursday today! Tomorrow is finally Friday! Yay!

It's about 11:29 and I have class at 1. I am so tired! Today, my son woke up at 6:30 (which he never does) and he just wanted to hang out. I obviously have no choice but to accompany him. And now, that hour is catching up and I KNOW I will super tired in class. Anywho, on to the goodness.

First, I am sorry for the yucky photos. It was hard because we haven't seen any sun here for the past few days, So I worked with what I had - and that wasn't a lot.

Can you tell what beautiful polishes I used for this manicure? Well, for the base, I used 1 coat of Sinful Colors Cinderella, 2 coats of Revlon Whimsical then 2 coats of Out The Door in attempt to achieve a smooth top coat. So, what do you think? I personally really love they way it looks. Somehow it seems so magical. On the other hand, I feel like blue is such an odd color to hand on my nails. Maybe I'm just not used to it. However, I am really enjoying this mani!

What do you think of the combo - though you can barely see Cinderella?
Anna

By the way, have any of you used Whimsical? How was the removal process?

  2. Gorgeous, I love this together! This shade looks wonderful on you! I used Whimsical over a cream base and it looked a tiny bit brighter, I like how this keeps it a kind of muted sky blue. Removal was... typical for glitter. I had about 3 layers of Whimsical on top of my base, so it took awhile to get off, but I got there. Do you ever use felt (rather than cotton) to remove nail polish? As I recall, this just ate through cotton balls because of all of the large glitter, felt helped out a whole lot! But don't be afraid, it's such a gorgeous color it is completely worth the removal process.

  3. I like this combo a lot! You're right, there's something kind of magical about it. I may have to pick up Cinderella soon. I'm trying to be good and not buy any new polish for a while, but we all know how that always ends haha.

  4. Gorgeous combo! It is magical somehow, kind of reminds me of unicorns! I agree with Sarah, removal is typical for a glitter but well worth it! And I know that feeling of going to class when you know you're going to be tired, I dread it! Hope you were able to stay awake!
